What AI Does to the World(s): Critical Geographic Perspectives?”, hosted by the French National Committee of Geography will take place in Paris from 5-8th July 2027.
The Call for Sessions is now open and is structured around six thematic axes:
- Education Geographies and the Didactics of Geography in Times of AI
- Territorial and Spatial Planning Facing AI
- Society and Culture: Visions and Impacts of AI (including gender, class, and race)
- Politics and Economics: Space, Power, and Counter-Power in the Age of AI
- Challenges and Environmental Impacts of AI
- Geospatial AI: Geomatics, Spatial Analysis, Technologies, and Tools
