Call for Sessions: What AI Does to the World(s)

What AI Does to the World(s): Critical Geographic Perspectives?”, hosted by the French National Committee of Geography will take place in Paris from 5-8th July 2027.

The Call for Sessions is now open and is structured around six thematic axes:

  1. Education Geographies and the Didactics of Geography in Times of AI
  2. Territorial and Spatial Planning Facing AI
  3. Society and Culture: Visions and Impacts of AI (including gender, class, and race)
  4. Politics and Economics: Space, Power, and Counter-Power in the Age of AI
  5. Challenges and Environmental Impacts of AI
  6. Geospatial AI: Geomatics, Spatial Analysis, Technologies, and Tools
